About Malaysia Airlines
Operating from the nation's capital of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Airlines is the national carrier of Malaysia. In the wake of two separate incidents involving of their flights, Malaysia Airlines has been the subject of significant rebranding, now operating under the official name Malaysia Airlines Berhad. As part of their corporate restructuring, the new Malaysia Airlines has trimmed about half their routes, though the airline still operates full-service flights to 50 destinations around the world with a fleet of 93 planes. Malaysia Airlines remains a member of the Oneworld Alliance, and retains partnerships with a large number of airlines such as American, KLM, Thai International, and British Airways, among others.
