Still retaining its distinctive style and branding after a takeover by China Eastern Airlines, Shanghai Airlines operates domestic and international service from its hub at Shanghai Pudong International Airport. Shanghai Airlines still retains its characteristic red and white livery on its fleet of 87 planes, visible throughout its network of full-service flights to 140 destinations. Shanghai Airlines has the curious distinction of belonging to two of the major three airline alliances as a member of both SkyTeam and the Star Alliance.
